Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System Now on the right side, right-click in the empty space and from the context menu, chose New > DWORD (32-Bit), name it DisableLogonBackgroundImage and give it a value 1.
